Online Study Bible.com

Read the Bible. Hear Alexander Scourby read the Bible. Classic commentaries. --  Audio of conservative preachers on a particular passage.  All from a page in the Bible!

Study Bible
Bible Dictionary/Encyclopedia
Concordance
Commentaries
Word studies/Lexicons

Audio and Video

Everything is laid out in the margins of the Bible page on the screen or in drop down menus.  It is like opening the Bible and having it packed with links to study tools.

Quote from the site: "The concept [of Online Study Bible.com] was to make God's Word the Bible available online in a manner that looked and felt like a regular book. (One where you can turn the pages both backwards and forwards.)

"We then added to that, to allow one to jump forward or backwards to any Book of the Bible and to any Chapter within a book. When you want to change places in the Bible you can now get to any Verse by selecting the Book from the slide bar on the far right and 2 clicks. (1. to the book (i.e.. Luke), 2. to the Chapter where all verses are available on one page)."

Hear Scourby read or preachers preach on the passage you are looking at.  Come on, what is better than that?

Very well organized.

My wife's favorite.

Online Study Bible.com was founded by John Drolet and Scott Sager and the site is being expanded all the time.

I think I heard a rumor that in an upcoming expansion, they will have  the audio portion of Paul's 12+ hour talk at Troas from 58 AD.

Quote from the site: "CHRISTIAN RADIO: If you are in an area like we are you may not have many options for Christian Radio. ... We have provided a radio button in the top right side that will give you a choice of 6 Christian Stations that come in clearly on your own computer. Music is available and some stations feature the same speakers heard on the Online Study Bible. Just click on one of the 6 station buttons and hear the station live."

Quote from site: "Helpmewithbiblestudy.org is designed to help Christians learn a sound and systematic method for reading, understanding, and applying God's Word. The lessons teach a reliable Bible study method."

Extensive Bible-study book section. Reference works are described and contain the actual prefaces, recommendations, and introductions from the reference books. Nifty!

Quote from Founder of Helpmewithbiblestudy.org:

"Since I have learned how to read the Bible, my walk with the Lord is much better and consistent. I still make mistakes, but they are fewer and less severe. Perhaps the greatest impact is that I've been more graceful and forgiving as I am humbled with the experience of God's grace."

"It is my prayer that this site encourage and challenge you in your walk with the Lord. I'm not a Bible scholar, but God has brought a variety of godly people to this site who share in this desire. This site certainly does not take the place of the many great books that teach you how to read the Bible, but it does provide material that you could use or adapt for your personal ministry to your family, friends, church, and acquaintances."

Why this is a featured site: "Systematic" is the key word. Every step in this "sound way of learning" is laid out in drop-down menus leading to clear summaries.  Teachers and students will like this topic-on-demand format.  Can you imagine a site where the key points from hundreds of scholarly books on Bible study and Bible doctrine have been captured and then organized so that they are just a click away?  Stop trying to imagine it, go to Help Me With Bible Study.org
